Therapeutic Hatha Yoga

Welcome to a fantastic opportunity to join our Therapeutic Hatha Yoga class guided by Sujeesh to learn more about yoga movements and asanas in relation to your own body.

This class is a therapeutic approach to Hatha Yoga that combines mindful movement, proper alignment, breath awareness and functional anatomy to help students build a strong, pain free and balanced body.

The focus is on understanding the root causes of common physical issues and learning practical techniques to improve them through yoga and healthy movement habits. Topics include:

* Pelvic health, stability and mobility and how pelvic imbalances affect the whole body.

* Understanding the causes of knee pain and injuries and how proper alignment and muscle engagement can protect and strengthen the knees.

* Improving ankle mobility and stability to enhance balance, movement and injury prevention.

* Identifying the common causes of back pain and learning safe, effective yoga practices to relieve discomfort and support a healthy spine.

* Addressing shoulder and neck tension by improving posture, mobility and strength to reduce pain and restore natural movement.

This class is suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of safe and intelligent yoga practice. Students will learn how to practice without creating unnecessary strain or injury while also discovering how to modify and use yoga therapeutically if they are already experiencing physical discomfort.

The goal is to empower students with knowledge and practical tools so they can move with greater awareness, prevent injuries, reduce pain and improve their overall health and quality of life both on and off the mat.
